- Regularly scheduled rubbish pickup.
- Landfills/refuse transfer stations.
- Parks, recreation centers, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and Honolulu Zoo.
On-street parking: Free, except for metered stalls on Kalakaua Avenue along Kapi'olani Park; holiday tow-away zone parking as permitted by sign; meters in municipal lots must be fed. Parking is permitted in tow away zones that allow it on holidays.
Traffic: No coning.

Fireworks Tips
A permit is required to buy fireworks unless they are paperless. Permits are avialible at satellite city halls for $25. Fireworks may be sold until 8 p.m. on Friday and may be set off from 1 to 9 p.m. on Friday (7/4) only.
Fireworks Do's & Don't - Do, use only approved fireworks from licensed stores.
- Do light fireworks on a smooth, flat surface away from buildings, dry plants or flammable items.
- Do have a water hose ready.
- Don't point fireworks at people, animals, buildings or brush.
- Don't ignite fireworks indoors.
